never done any of this before but i’m replacing my aio cpu cooler, and my fans are connected to this cable that i don’t know how to disconnect , lol. pic was taken before cutting zip ties and cleaning

It's a stack of 4-pin Molex PSU connectors that cheap fans use to draw power from. Normal PC fans use 3/4-pin headers from the motherboard so they can be controlled; fans connected to those will run 100% all the time.

That's molex. Just pull them they take a good bit of force sometimes to pull apart. I'd rather see them plugged into a motherboard header if possible - but that's just me (they also may not have the plugs for that).

I remember those back in the early days for me with my Antec DF-85 chassis. The fans used Molex in the same way as shown in your photo there. Sometimes it makes sense to do it that way, if the fans have their own controller independent of the system.
