Any power banks as good as Anker ?

whitedragon101

Are there any other brands producing good quality power banks other than Anker? (I am in the UK)

Looking for the biggest one you can take on a plane (max 100wh)

100Wh would be the same as 27,000mAh.

From what I can see 27,000mAh power banks all come from "almost no name" brands that I have no experiance of.

LTT have been sponsored by UGREEN a few times and they have some 20,000mAh or 25,000mAh versions.

I myself have moved to using Belkin products (since the eufy scandal) and the stuff I have purchased from them seem good to me. They do make a 20,000mAh power bank, but I havn't got first hand experiance of that product.

Common build advice: 1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticably improve performance past 240mm.

Ugreen does seem to appear to market their batteries like Anker does. Brand recognition, power safety/ stabilisation features/ PD etc. Not sure if that all stacks up to be as good as Anker but it looks promising

I think you need to explain why you have such strong positive bias towards Anker. Are you an electrical engineer?

I am aware of Anker because of LTT sponsor spots, and now I am aware Ugreen because of LTT sponsor spots. I also use Baseus because I've seen their name come up as a recommendation on Reddit frequently.

Two main reasons :

- I have never heard a bad experience and I have personally used a bunch of them.

- When you google best power bank Anker comes top for large packs every time.

I wonder though do if there are other brands with less pervasive marketing that are just as good. I bought a big 24,000 mah RAV power battery years ago and it’s lasted really well. But rav power no longer sell in the UK.  But when I look at the big reviews Anker always seem to be the only game in town.

Thanks for the recommendation of BaseUS. Now I have 2 in the mix UGreen and BaseUS.  It would be cool if manufacturers had to declare the cells they use so you could compare apples with apples or if someone did tear downs to see what cells are inside.
