Help me optimize my pc for both money and Just overall usage!

Budget (including currency): 2000$

Country: America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: A multiload of games, a lot of them ranging however FPS, Souls like and Perhaps streaming. I want it to be over 120 FPS on most games. (Hence the 4070)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm upgrading from a 1650 laptop, Need a monitor but I am extremely unsure, I might have more than 2000$ but I don't want to overshoot, Also suggest how to stop the 2.2 bottleneck please!

It looks like you're shopping from Micro Center, so I assume you have one nearby. The main reason you shop there for parts is their bundle deals, so look at one of those for the CPU/Motherboard/RAM config. If all you do is game, the 12900K isn't actually the best option, the 7800X3D is. Currently they have a bundle with that CPU, board, and RAM for $500 that's very hard to pass up.

https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006599/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d,-msi-b650-p-pro-wifi-ddr5,-gskill-flare-x5-series-32gb-ddr5-6000-kit,-computer-build-bundle

For the SSD, it's cheaper to just get a single 2TB drive rather than 2 1TB drives, so you might as well go that route instead. For the cooler, if you want to optimize for cost, go air cooling since the 7800X3D draws barely any power, and a $35 air cooler is plenty to keep it cool. After that, you are at ~$850 before the GPU.

As for the GPU, you can do the 4070 if you want to (though I'd recommend a different model, they can be had for $530 from other places and will perform identically), though you have the budget for much higher end cards like a 7900 XTX.

I'll let someone else recommend a monitor instead.

So, Thing is, I'll have the budget in a month or two, Which is why I'm not JUMPING on deals since I'll likely go in febuary (Pretty sure they do MULTIPLE sales that time around), Which air cooler do you recommend by the way (This is my first ever build, I just hope that air coolers come with thermal paste), Also I'm mostly focusing on NVIDIA cards for the start of my journey as I know more about them, I really appreciate the 2TB recommendation, Never thought of it like that. Gaming is gonna be the main application of course, However it'll also be browsing, etc. I am really thankful for it! Just checked, My micro-center doesn't seem to have any AMD compatible motherboards, Which is a big issue so Mind noting a better intel CPU?

Yeah, if you aren't planning on building within the next week or so, ask again then as the PC market moves so fast that any recommendation made now will be irrelevant by then. There's also new GPU releases supposedly happening in January, so that will further change what recommendation makes sense for you.

The one in the PCPartPicker list above is the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120, which is arguably the best value cooler out today, though again, this will probably change in a month or two.

Also yes, air coolers come with thermal paste. The only coolers I've seen that didn't come with thermal paste are some water blocks, and even then it's not all of them.

The 7800X3D is going to be the best pick for this then. Browsing the web and similar is not really resource intensive in the slightest, so not a factor for picking a CPU.

Wait to the end of January to ask. Intel is expected to introduce new, locked CPU soon.

Can't sell AMD CPU if you don't have compatible motherboards. I expect any lack of stock in this area is just temporary.

You don't want Intel 12 gen for a DDR5 build ... same goes for the Z690 chipset. Nvidia is due to release three new gpu's next month. Look at the reviews of the RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB.

Things can change in time when you're ready to buy. Always good to buy latest gen now after some time of their release and lowered prices.

Or wait later on and see then what's up. Though no major new hardware gen is to launch soon. My rig was around this budget.

But depends where you are and current sales locally. So I'd go similar price per component wise.
