Virtualbox - VM CPU slower than host CPU

Go to solution Solved by manikyath,

it's reporting wrong, that's all thats going on here.

On my host, my CPU turbos around 3.5-36 GHz with a base lock of 1.9 GHz.  In the VM, I’m only seeing the CPU run at 1.9 GHz.  My Execution cap is already set to 100% so I’m not sure what the issue is.  Anyone know how to get the CPU running faster?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

From what I’m seeing about other VMs and comparing to the VM I have at work, this seems to be the case.  Not sure why VMs only show the base speed.  Thank you
