Aio radiator compatibility

Jacob Rotkowitz

I have bought a Aio that’s 360mm but the radiator size is 402mm and my case says it supports 360mm but does not say anything about radiator size except it says it can support 360mm. The Aio is the Deepcool ls720 and the case is the Thermaltake divider 370 that. Am I okay? I put it into pc part picker and it does not have any notes but I don’t know if it checks for that.

Taken from the site for that case.

Radiators are measured by the fans they use, not the actual size of the radiator itself.

Any given radiator will be a little longer than the length of all the fans added up, by design. A 360mm radiator is a radiator that supports three 120mm fans(3 x 120 = 360). Because the radiator has to let liquid in and out, it'll have some added length for the tubes and connectors, which is why your radiator is longer than 360mm.

You should be fine.

It should be fine,  rad sizes are referred as standardized 120 240 360 etc but always are bigger as there's additional length above the part covered by fans, needed for the tubes and to have coolant flowing around
