Is the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE usable with MX-6?

Go to solution Solved by freeagent,

It will be fine. The cooler comes with about a gram of TF7.. that stuff is pretty decent too.

Hello guys, I'm currently getting a new CPU cooler for my Ryzen 5 5600X as the AMD stock cooler does its job very badly. Thus I've decided to get the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE as I've seen very good reviews about it online. I've also ordered a new Arctic MX-6 thermal paste to use although the CPU cooler comes with one included. Now I need to know if the MX-6 can be used for the cooler as I've got some concerns that it might not work.

Thanks for every little and big help! 🙂

Why won't it work ? It's paste !

MX6 is good, but you could have used the included  one, it's not like your CPU need top  notch cooling

Thermal paste is safe to use with any cooler. Its Liquid Metal you need the be aware what you use it on.
