Hard call, good cases start at $100 (Phanteks NV5 or G360, Corsair 4000, LL Lancool II, BQ PB500DX...)

Antec makes decent cheap cases with fans, get an Antec 410, or Antec 600Flux at $80

do you need atx?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

False

Montech AIR 903 BASE

Fractal Pop Air

The hard part is getting a case with three fans, as most cases in this price point typically come with only two*.

*Presumably OP is using an ATX motherboard and PSU

I can't recommend the ComEZ Classico because, frankly, the 4 fans are horrible: flexible AND weak plastic, and Molex D connectors. Plus, the front I/O connector is dated with 2 USB-A 2.0 and 1 USB-A 3.0.

The claim that there are no good cases sub $100 is false, however. It may take time to find the one you need, though.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

I didn't say there's no good cases under $100, but that at $100 you will mostly have good cases 🙂

Fair enough, but are your standards very high for what is considered a good case? For example, are you expecting A good case to be easy to build in?  To me, an easy building case is a luxury not a requirement.

To me ease of build it's a top requirement, it kills the building fun if you're fighting the case, and then again when you're upgrading stuff

And it don't really cost more, it's more of a design issue

I'm gonna start a new thread about that type of case. I hope you'll respond.

I may now be late to this, but the Meshify 2 RGB is on sale for $85 (It's normally $150+)
