How to free up storage in my hdd?

Uninstall stuff? Clear out recycling bin? When you get enough space you can download CCleaner. I pretty much only use it for deleting extra useless files I am too lazy to find myself.

OS and Steam (for example) should be on the 200, then game library on the 600.

Delete stuff. Uninstall games you're not playing. Run Disk Cleanup to remove the install files for past Windows updates.

 

A tool like WinDirStat can help you visualize what's using up all of your drive space.
