What Dac should I get?

Caveman0407

In a post I made here

Somebody once told me to get a dac. I asked again in a different post (gonna edit that in later) to see if I could fix it without purchasing a dac.

However, it still buzzes. So now I'm thinking of getting a dac. However I'm not sure which one to get. There is this Ugreen one with a dac chip but it says "not all devices supported" and gives a list of phones it could work with. However, I'm using a laptop. So if there's any suggestions, please tell me.

Actually, I do have a dac but it's a Hyperx soundcard and would that still work?

Extra info:

- Headset: Razer Blackshark V2x

- Buzzing on the right side occasionally

- Hyperx sound card comes from my brother's Hyperx Cloud Alpha s.

The HyperX soundcard will work better than onboard.

Just tested it. It works. I was thinking it might not because it's HyperX and my headset is Razer

Doesn't matter. Everything is analog at the end anyways. You can drive any headphone in the world that has a 3.5mm or 6.3mm connector but every headphone responds differently
