Ok but that's like 100EUR difference on a 3000EUR rig, not a big deal, especially with like 300EUR spent on shinyyy cooling 😛

There's no way you paid 300eur for that case... some flagship cases that I want which also cost an arm and a leg aren't as expensive.

Its nice, honestly recommend going ddr5 though since the price difference is negligible at that price point and would definitely be worth the invested because you will have to do it sooner or later. Aios quite pricey but i assume moneys not an issue?

Not really, 4K is GPU bound anyway, and additional performance would be like max +10% in CPU tasks, but the shinyyy fans add 0% 😛

The 13700k was a waste of money at 4k any way you slice it.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

I mean depends on what you play. Some games scale the cache even at that absurd res but for most titles? Just getting 8/16 for better frame times is just a-ok.

Safe to assume you're in Germany? Which European country you're in?

We could do better for an all RGB for 3000 EUR in Germany. Is this system purpose for gaming? If so, whats your mainstay titles (games you frequent), framerate target, and resolution target?

Nor do I understand the $400+ case.

Targeting 4K/60 with a 4080 and DDR4.

I guess if you're reusing old stuff, but please mark those so we understand your thought process.  You are asking our advice, please give us all the info necessary.

And PDifolo's DDR4 has no bearing, as his 5900X can't use DDR5.

If it suits your needs and you're satisfied with it, it's a 10/10.

There's not much point in us rating your choices when the money has already been spent.

I interpreted this comment about having DDR4 because it was carried over from a previous system to mean the parts list is what they're currently using.

Fans.  If you buy $150 in fans for a case, that case all in is $400+.

Like I said, listing what you have is nice.  980 Pro boot is a waste (but if you like Samsung, rock it), but again I think you're looking to show us what you're getting than any real desire to tweak or modify.

A build log would have sufficed.

Yes you are right, I posted without the intend to modify my build tho I wanted to see if I made any clear mistakes that I can avoid in future builds. I will also post stuff like this as a build log from now on. I thank you all for your help!
