yeah what he said above. only 100 MHz which can EASILY be obtained with a bit of overclocking.

 

the 4790K though will be something to watch :P

was looking at the refresh series and came across some sights that were saying that the 4770k was better than the refresh wanted some feedback

The 4790k is supposed to be available on June 2nd in the U.S.  The main difference that the newer processor brings to the table is better overclocking..supposedly.  It will still come down to luck of the chip, but the new processors are supposed to use better adhesive, so de-lidding for extreme overclocks and temperature regulation wont be necessary.
