Not really - difference in minimal in performance and mainly in aesthetics

NZXT AIO's are good, so I hear

I'd fit the biggest your case allows and what's within budget.

280 will do better and lower noise since you can run the bigger fans at a lower speed.

I havent owned an NZXT cooler since the x61 coolers but i dont hear many complaints about NZXT other than price.

Cooling performance is about the same yet the 280mm is a bit quieter due to larger fans moving air at slower speed

Thickness also plays a part. A thinner 280mm could be less coolant than a thicker 240mm

Not English-speaking person, sorry, I'll make mistakes. If you're kind, maybe you'll be able to understand.

If you're really kind, you'll nicely point that out so I will learn more about write in good English.  🙂

there is quite a difference a 280 Rad has an area of 392 cm² and a 240 just 288 cm² so quite a difference especially because a 360 Rad has just an area of 432 cm². But with a 280 Rad its way more importat that the fans can build up sufficient static pressure wich is harder for 140 mm fans... so all in all a bad 280 rad might be worse/the same as a good 240 rad, but a good 280 Rad  should be better than a good 240 one

If people don't just use default Asetek rad thickness of around 35-40mm.

Spoiler: a lot of people do.

if you put really good expensive fans on a 280 then ya it would be better but a 360 or 420 probably better then buying expensive 140mm fans...
