Modifying my old fisher price camera

I am looking to upgrade my old fisher price camera by replacing the internals with my raspberry pi, a pi cam, and a little screen hat. Can anyone give me help? Like what is the best pi cam for taking pictures without an additional lens? Or what screen I should use? I might also need help with the software, but I can sort that out later. The camera is a Fisher Price l8341/l8342
