How do you know when your AIO cooler is dying or is already dead?

Jerry_Zupan

I have Lian li Galahad 360 black AIO. I have it for over 2 years now and im not sure if its dying or not. when i bought it i was getting temps 29C on idle (on my i7 12700K) and around 67C on full load. In Cinebench i was scoring over 22000 score on multi core but now im scoring 15000 points because CPU is thermal throttling. Now on idle im getting between 45C to 50C and while playing games(mostly Battlefield 1) im always hitting 100C all the time and the game sometimes freezes. i tryed fliping the pump and shaking it a bit if there are some bubbles stuck. it lowered temps in game to 85C but for a short period of time(a week) and then it happened again. I also checked RPM of pump on full load with Hwinfo and it was around 1800 rpm all the time. Thanks in advance.

There was a recall on those. They are known to develop gunk and prevent the flow of water.

Check if yours was affected, maybe you can still RMA.

The easiest to tell is a warm CPU with a cold radiator.

Regarding issues with our Galahad AIO affecting CPU-temperatures - LIAN LI is a Leading Provider of PC Cases | Computer Cases (lian-li.com)

Unless your ambient temperature has jumped +10C, then its likely this as 191x7 suggests.

Yeah, radiator is completly cold everywhere except near the tubes. AIO block is very warm to the touch. Thank you for info, i'll try to return it to lian li.
