Posted July 17, 2023 Good Afternoon, I used to work somewhere before this, and someone had a website they used to use, they would find the computer on the website and then be told every type of RAM/CPU/etc that was compatible as we were dealing with many different companies and computers but can't remember this website as I need to find out what ram is compatible with a computer, and would be helpful to have this for the future I know theirs websites where I can input all the components but that's alot of wasted time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... HP, Dell,etc. Put in the Serial number or Tag as some call it. For the part inputting site (pcpartpicker.com) it takes a few minutes is all. As much time as you'll do it any other way really. For example Lenovo offers this. When I enter the model/serial # of my laptop it allows me to purchase components directly from them. ask me about my homelab on a personal quest convincing the general public to return to the glory that is 12" laptops. cheap and easy cable management is my fetish.
