Don't exist fake neck lace things for mens?

12345678

I've seen something for women, but they don't fit on random shirts for man

The reason is that my boss demands necklace shirts, but I always hated them due to:

  • High cost for a tiny extra piece of fabric, a polo/plaid shirt is like 20€ vs 3/4 euros of random shirt
  • Fabric is often crap and transparent, if it's not transparent then it's too thick and with 35C it's not great
  • Designwise I don't like them. They also use another standard of measurement

I would not be surprised if a decent chunk of the price increase is also due to (somewhat) better quality and not just because of the extra fabric since they tailor to a different audience.

Depends on the fabric you choose. The 3 euro random shirt will probably also be crap quality.

Measurements can vary even between brands in my experience, where two shirts using the same measurement will have a little bit different fit. That's easily worked around by trying it on before buying though.

A bit of googline seems to suggest they exist, but they don't seem to be cheap given your preference for a 3 euro t shirt and as you mention mostly women's popped up.

Do they offer compensation or a cheaper way to get them through the company perhaps? Depending on the job (interacting with people or customers for example) it's not unreasonable to ask employees to dress appropriately. You can also try vintage or second hand stores. You can find good deals there with a bit of luck.

What are necklace shirts?

Edit: The only neck and lace clothing item I know of is the lace tank tops for women. Are you talking about that?

think they mean collared shirts.

Try searching Etsy. They seem to have a few fake collars for men. They would likely look bad with a t-shirt though and unless you're also wearing a tie and jacket it'll probably be very noticeable. Your boss may still not approve of a fake collar and t-shirt.

Just find a polo or short sleeved shirt with a collar that you like. Decent polo shirts should breathe fairly well. I also find wearing a singlet undershirt helps when wearing button up collared shirts. Just make sure they're either full cotton or bamboo/cotton.
