Posted July 2, 2023 Steelseries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless or the SONY WH 1000XM4 I need new headphones for gaming and for watching movies videos and stuff. The Steelseries headphones are better for gaming but the Sony's are better over all becasue i can use it for everyday use, and i can't where the Steelseries everyday. Posted July 2, 2023 Gaming headsets are bad. It'll always be better to have a proper set of headphones with a separate microphone, it'll blow any other gaming headset out of the water. I've had a pair of Arctis before (and some other gaming headsets), and I promise you that I had better sound with cheap <10€ headphones I found laying around. The Sony headphones are bluetooth. Bluetooth sucks in Windows. I used to use Bluetooth headphones with Windows and it was never a great experience. Ive read tons of threads that suggest it hasn't gotten that much better in Windows 11. The Steelseries most likely use a proprietary wireless standard. Which is why it will work on Windows. Hell in some cases I feel my Sennheiser bluetooth headphones sound better than my Corsair Void gaming headset. It just I cant do bluetooth with Windows so I bought a gaming headset for gaming and use my Bluetooths on my Mac. I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
