Steelseries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless or the SONY WH 1000XM4

I need new headphones for gaming and for watching movies videos and stuff. The Steelseries headphones are better for gaming but the Sony's are better over all becasue i can use it for everyday use, and i can't where the Steelseries everyday.

I think you answered your own question. The sonys are an all-rounder, while the arctic are for gaming.

Gaming headsets are bad. It'll always be better to have a proper set of headphones with a separate microphone, it'll blow any other gaming headset out of the water.

The XM4s are great, but if you use them for gaming you'll notice some delay, since it's Bluetooth.

Wired is much better, I'd say go for it, the XM4s are very good.

I've had a pair of Arctis before (and some other gaming headsets), and I promise you that I had better sound with cheap <10€ headphones I found laying around.

One thing Id like to add. The Sony headphones are bluetooth. Bluetooth sucks in Windows. I used to use Bluetooth headphones with Windows and it was never a great experience. Ive read tons of threads that suggest it hasn't gotten that much better in Windows 11. The Steelseries most likely use a proprietary wireless standard. Which is why it will work on Windows.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I mean gaming headsets generally dont sound great. Hell in some cases I feel my Sennheiser bluetooth headphones sound better than my Corsair Void gaming headset. It just I cant do bluetooth with Windows so I bought a gaming headset for gaming and use my Bluetooths on my Mac.

I'd give the Audeze Maxwell a look too! They will give you much better sound quality than the Sony's.
