When will volunteers be picked?

Some advice for those who are still to interview

Be able to touch on the following:
1. Why do you want to volunteer?
2. Do you have any experiences that overlap with volunteering at a large event (e.g. dealing with many people)

3. Do you have any experiences directly related to the station(s) you signed up for?

I still got chosen but I did a sub-optimal job on point 2 relative to what I could've done. I think I submitted my resume though, which was kind of stacked and showed I was profoundly over qualified.

Oh I did that but are they already picking volunteers? or is it because you did it in 2019?

I did it in 2019.

It's a fairly easy interview overall. If you want to pretend it's practice for harder interviews... just get a question bank of ~100-200 Amazon leadership principles and adapt to the specific thing you're applying to.
