Using RX 470 on Non 80+ PSU

Can I use RX 470 without 80+ PSU?

Need full specs to determine wattage but I'm gonna venture to say you will be alright using it. the 80+ rating is for efficiency.

yea 80+ only determines efficiency not the amount of power it can provide. as long as it’s a high enough wattage and has the right connectors it should work.

Motherboard: Gigabyte H410M S2 V3
CPU: i3-10105f 4c/8t

SSD: NVME RX7 128GB

HDD: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM
PSU: Corsair VS450

1 Casing Fan

You can use it on whatever psu that has a 12v rail wattage equal to or exceeding reccomended psu wattage, obviously depends on what the rest of your system is cause a really low power setup that sips power might be fine with just 300w with that gpu

 

As for my experience with an rx580 2048sp it draws around 105w at 1180mhz 0.95v, and yes ive run it on an ancient 12 year old 450w (effective 360w cause 12v rail = 30a), and it sorta worked but shutdown issues problably because the psu just isnt up to the task

You're good to go.  I just used a calculator and even if you want to add an i7 in the future you'll be under 300 watts.

How about RX 570?
I found Used RX 570 for only 85$ in my country
