Are old broken laptops worthy of being sold?

I have a sony vaio laptop which, whilst yes it does work. Some of the things on it are broken and what I want to do is sell my broken sony vaio laptop in exchange for cash. What would be the best marketplaces to sell broken laptops or recycle them?

I recently sold a Vaio (with E-450 apu) for about $15, so yes it's worth it depending on the specs and the buyer's needs.

I sold it on shopee which is only for Asia, so I'm not sure where you could sell it safely. Facebook seems decent enough, though.

In the states I used Letgo, Facebook marketplace, and Craigslist back when I refurbed machines destined for ewaste. Depending on the specs and condition of the machine, what you may earn from it varies, but generally there are people out there who just need a machine for browsing the web, and as long as it powers on and does that you may be able to sell it.
