when it comes to CPU, not much because of their stupid APU, but how knows ?

hopefully they can reach i7 levels of single core performance and slap twice as many cores on a single chip. I might consider upgrading from my 2600 for that in a couple of years.

So much win for AMD if this goes well, maybe some competition for intel?

Great news for the costums. It would not be a bad idea to see a high performance eight core APU maybe? ;)

Still a few years off at the earliest. I'm thinking of making a new pc next year so I will probably go intel.

But it's great news to hear AMD is making something from scratch. Can't wait to see what they come up with.
