Windows 11 for custom pcs?

Cant you use the "upgrade" button when booting from W11 installer USB? Just use rufus to create bootable USB device and disable checks like TPM and RAM limitations.

Hey guys, me and a few guys from my office were discussing getting windows installed on our current custom windows 10 pcs. We meet all the system requirements, accept the TPM 2.0 module. Is there a work around for getting past this without having to uninstall everything and reinstall windows from a USB? thanks!

Yeah I read that, but most of the machines I come across from the supported CPU list that are capable of running it have this built in. So while there are some configurations that really don't support Windows 11, I more threw that out there just making sure it wasn't a case of we didn't enabled something in the "bios".

 

For example, Windows 11, is 8th Gen Intel forward IIRC correctly right? Those all have the TPM 2.0 built in right?

Yes.

 

Might be more clear to ask OP what hardware they have, because yes anything that's supported from the other aspects should support firmware TPM.
