Motherboard 8 pin cpu power plus 4

Do I need to worry about the extra 4 pin cpu power plug on the Strix B-650E-F gaming? Or is it just for overclocking? I have an 850 watt PSU but all of its CPU cables are just 8 pin no 4+4, could I plug in an 8 pin to half? Or just not worry about it?

It's just there so clueless people can "feel" like they get more performance from their CPU, "feel" like they can overclock better etc. Don't worry about it
