MadVR or specifically "NNEDI3 filter" a stronger impact on the video image quality than having 4x AA enabled in games

This news is probably very late but I never saw anyone talking about it.

Even the MadVR guides that is found on top google search is outdated (myanimelist.net, coalgirls, etc...)

as the title says, the new filter gives massive video quality improvement, but you also need a very powerful GPU.

I downsample my games, 3200x1800>1920x1080, 2880x1620>1920x1080, or 2560x1440>1920x1080. Honestly I would need to see it in action but from the pictures it looks inferior to running x4 AA, though it doesn't matter to me anyways as I downsample.

Excuse me but the images you posted are JPG and therefore not suitable for making comparisons with (and yes I know the images are from that FutureMark forum user). I also recommend screenshotcomparison.com for making comparisons in.

It doesn't make any sense that the "Native full quality HD BD" test showed any result at all as well, since I assume that is displayed 1:1 and therefore won't be scaled at all. I think I'll do my own comparison later and see if it's worth it.
