Damn, Was hoping to avoid this. Out of curiosity, what happened?

would imagine the hand sanitizer is shorting the oleds in the panel.

I recently had my Pixel 6 Pro in my backpack charging. A bottle of hand sanitizer spilled on pretty much everything in there including my phone. Later on that day I noticed that my touch screen stopped working and there was a black blob growing from one of the cracks in the display. What is happening and how do I fix it?

My Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz (OC to 4.45GHz)

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200

Motherboard: ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4S

Storage Device: 2X 1TB WD Blue HDD, 256GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus (Windows install)

Case: NZXT H510i

Keyboard: Corsair K70 TKL Champion Edition/Reddragon K552 (Blue Switches)

Mouse: Glorious Model O

Headset: Corsair H60 Pro Surround

Replacing the screen would probably work, assuming the hand sanitizer didn't go farther into the phone.

I think it's done for mate.  gonna need the screen replaced at least.  iFixit has some great resources if you want to attempt it yourself.  Youtube probably has some too.  other than that find a local reputable phone repair shop.  Find them on google maps and check their reviews before handing over your device though.

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!
