DIY LG G8X ThinQ Dual Screen Display as a Separate Type-C display, Need help.

I Have Bricked my dual-screen trying this Mod.

all the relevant file links also there.

 

The dual screen works on STM32F411 Controller chip.

 

I need Help with this-

1. Figuring out how to flash the firmware back on the dual screen Motherboard.

2. Creating new firmware from the scratch for this new Purpose.

However you managed to delete the ROM is hopefully the way to re-flash it. If that doesn't work you're probably dead in the water. Maybe you could read through the STM32F411 documentation to figure out how to program it? Maybe that unknown F1 header is a way to flash it? Who can say.

 

My unhelpful (but definitely easier and faster) advice is to buy a new screen case or switch out the control board for one that isn't bricked.

Resolved.

dual screen is working again, back on stock original firmware.
