SOLVED! turned on speedshift and speedstep .....smh reverse should be true but found an old reddit post and the mans used counterintuitive thinking to determine the speedshift and speedstep off were not actually incresing performance for thermals but the opposite i tried and walla if anyone else has similar issues with oem or dell motherboards this is the perfect answer and its updated to 2022聽 馃檪聽happy i dug around old dead posts聽

Welcome to the forums.

By long convention, posting in ALL CAPS on the internet is considered "yelling." It's hard to read and rude. Please edit your post, turn off caps lock, and use some punctuation and paragraph breaks to make this easier to read and you will have a much better chance of getting help.聽

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.聽 If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Are we sure you aren't thermal throttling under these conditions? What are your temps?聽

What cpu do you have? I see i5-8, but that leaves many CPUs it could be.

Keep in mind you're asking for something very niche from an office computer that doesn't even like to XMP ram. What chipset is the motherboard?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.聽

*snip*

Those are some... very low voltages on the CPU. Is there an ECO-mode setting in BIOS or something?聽
