My Ryzen 5 5600x is driving me insane.

Hi guys,

I'm desperate and don't know what to do, my setup is:

CPU - Ryzen 5 5600x

GPU - RTX 2060

MB - Asus Tuf Gaming B550Plus

RAM - TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan DDR4 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHZ

AIO - NZXT Kraken M22

CASE - NZXT H500

The thing is, I upgraded my setup recently (September) and since then I've been having issues with extremely high temps, high as 99 degrees celsius while gaming (Apex legends, BF5, TF2, Warzon 2.0, etc.) Since then, I've tried everything such as undervolting the CPU which solve the high temps issue but at the cost of not being to play anything without crashing, not the pc, the games.

So this is my last hope guys because I've run out of options so anything you can help me with it's appreciated.

The cooler is shit. That series is known for its pretty awful quality and they dont last. Its either not making proper contact, you forgot to take off the plastic cover, or the pump is dead.

Just use the stock cooler and never look at it.

I used a Cooler Master Hyper 212 with an airflow case and everything was fine.
Something is seriously wrong with your cooler or your pc case, or both.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

When the PC is running, are both tubes that lead from the PUMP to the Radiator hot? Do you feel the vibrations? Hear the pump (in the radiator)?

That cooler uses a design where the pump is inside the radiator.

Do you have it mounted at the top of the case perhaps? The pump should not be the highest point of the loop.

The idle temperatures, how are they?

Is your motherboard running the latest Bios?

Im with aDoomGuy. Throw in the stock cooler and see if it solves the problem. If it does, you can decide if you wanna run with the wraith or if you wanna get a new cooler. If it doesn't, then you have at least eliminated one possibility.

My own 5600x sits around 80 degrees C with a Noctua U12S, but i have also stuck it inside a Fractal Define C mini, inside a cabinet (and used 6 years old thermal paste), so I don't blame it.

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)

With no idea myself?

At first glance without knowing

what your Case looks like...

My Guess is your Case has bad Cooling, Airflow, & such... You should try fixing the Fans, or try a different Case, one with better Airflow, & such...
