Did I make a mistake when mounting CPU cooler?

Hi, 

 

I just installed a new 58003xd with a deepcool assassin 3 and ran some benchmarks. When I start cinebench r23 my CPU temp instantly spikes to 90 °C. Score seems about right at 13708.

 

This is what ryzen master looks like during the r23 run:

 

Did i make some mistake? Should I reset my cpu-cooler?

Maybe reseat and reapply thermal paste. From what I can find, the 5800x3D ran at 77 degrees in Blender with a Noctua U14S according to TechPowerUp (the Assassin 3 should be a bit better?). This is probably an open testbench since no case is mentioned in the test setup.

What is your case?
What's the temp at idle ?

Case is a ms-tech crow x3, at the time of the benchmark the front panel was off. 

At idle the CPU averages ~49°C and CCD1 averages ~44-45°C according to hwinfo

Something is up, a little PA120 is giving that big cooler a whooping. Get rid of Ryzen Master..
