cooking alarm?

Hi,

can someone recommend a program for Android phones that can be use for a cooking alarm?聽 I would like to set an alarm that goes off once in, for example, half an hour or 20 minutes or an hour.

So far, I only found programs that let you set an alarm at a given time.聽 It's annoying that I have to figure out which time that will be when I just want an alarm in half an hour or so.

I could buy something like this, but why spend extra money, and it only goes for max one hour.聽 Most importantly, they tick and that would be so annoying:

Doesn't your phone have a clock app? You can set a timer there most of the time, works like a charm.

I would check if your clock/alarm app doesn't already have a timer mode. Unless you want multiple countdowns at the same time, I think that should do the trick.

Yes, an alarm clock isn't the problem.聽 The problem is that I need to figure out for which time to set an alarm, like when I want 15 minutes and it's 8:54, I' have to set it for, uhm ... 9:09.聽 That's sucks.

A countdown might work, I haven't thought of that.聽 Hm, yes, I found one, now I only need one that plays a different sound when the countdown is over ...

Yes but I like I said, I'd figure out the time to set the alarm to.

Or you hold the home button to call google assistant and say set a alarm in x minutes

What's a google assistant?聽 I don't have anything to do with google, and it's none of their business when I'm setting a timer ...

I use the built in Alarm app for this purpose all the time. Click on Alarm, go to "Timer", add a timer with the desired duration.

At least on my Google Pixel the phone's built in Clock can do that out of the box. You can have multiple timers and start as many as you want at the same time.

A timer is not an alarm. A timer is something you select x minutes on and set it.
