The LTX website asks for a password. I am planning to go for my first time in 2023 but can't get on the website. Which password is it refering to.

Hasn't opened for sales yet.

The password is likely the admin one.

either that, or possibly a limited time closed access ticket sale thing. I find it difficult to believe they would have a public facing spot to enter an administrative password

It's probably something like 'LTTStore.com' 'Linus' or 'BigDSebastian'.

The site is not live yet, hence the password prompt. Wait for the site to become live.
