6600 XT Failing Stress Tests

c3524

My Asus Dual 6600 XT oc had been having a few issues recently, and it is now failing the Radeon stress test and getting 24 fps in Furmark.

It hasn't done this before, only in the past week have i been having struggles with it.

It gives me the General Wattman settings have been restored to an unexpected system failure quite often, which has happened since i got the gpu about 6 months ago.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the gpu and drivers.

Cinebench also gave me a Graphic drivers Error message

I contacted ASUS and they told me to install gpu tweak 3, which i have done, but no difference. They are now telling me to book a RMA.

I have been getting unresponsive black screens in Premiere Pro, which will then give me error messages such as

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: NULL_CLASS_PTR_READ_c0000005_amdocl64.dll!Unknown

ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 - The instruction at 0x%p referenced memory at 0x%p. The memory could not be %s.

MODULE_NAME: amdocl64

Temps are all fine, Specs Below.

Help greatly appreciated.

Depends if they're a decent company or not.

They SHOULD send you a tracking label you just have to print out and put on it and then deliver to a service that'll take care of the shipping.

And if they find fault they usually ship you a replacement without it costing you.

No problem.

Just be mindful - if they don't find any fault it'll cost you shipping to get the card back.

Although from what you've described it should be pretty clear the card isn't usable.
