What do you think of my dodgy setup? Lets see who has the dodgiest.

smjpl

Hi all,

I have a really dodgy setup but it seems to do the job as its like this 3 years. I have a very small room and a very big PC. My computer is basically floating in mid air.

Can anyone beat this?

I win. I would say ignore the mess, but that kinda adds to the dodgy-ness. Believe it or not, that fan IS necessary

In case you can't tell, that blue LED fan is being held on by a toothpick and friction.

EDIT: Grammar

Nice setup! What happens to the temps if you turn the fan off?

I dunno, I didn't bother checking when I still used that computer. All I know is BSoD galore without it.

Haha yeah I'm like IT support to my parents. My dad had freaking 9 trojans on his computer yesterday. It could have been far worse if he didn't tell me until later. Some exploit he picked up off the net was pretending to be a Java updater and he almost clicked it T_T

My computer case is always open, because I'm always changing stuff.  Also, the top of my case has place for 2 fans, which I'm not making use of.  The problem is that I drink a lot near my computer.  I'm surprised I haven't spilled anything yet into my computer.
