LVDS adapters?

NecroFlex

I have an old AIO machine, crappy Atom from like 2007, i'd like to DIY a small laptop board in it but the display is using a 40-pin LVDS cable and the motherboard in question has a 30-pin eDP connector. The AIO in question is "Averatec All-In-One" and the connector looks like this:

is there a way to do that?

you would need an adapter to convert the signal, like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/313485827899?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28 (if it could be made to work, it seems you would need to cut the harness and split it into 30 and 10)

not sure how well it would work, can't see this being worth doing on such old hardware either, considering you could probably figure out something better to do with the money.

It's not aboutt the money, it's more about just making it because i'm into it 😛

will check it out, found some cheaper ones in the mean time, tho what the differences are, needs to be seen. Thanks!
