Basically if you used to shop Newegg at the dawn of shell shockers, it’s back mates, An actual good deal.

This is the Asus ROG Strix Z590-A Gaming Wifi (not revision 2) for $100 before tax using the discount, further applied discount code, and $30 mail in rebate. With tax for me and free shipping this is $110 for a really nice Z590 board.

”but why would you buy a z590 board”

Compare your options on a new build right now. You can get a really low end B660 or ok H610 board for $100.

Or you can get this dope ass Z590 board.

And then your processor choices get cheaper, an i5 11400 is still a fantastic processor, an 11700k, hell even on the low end what were you gonna put on H610? An i3 12100? The 11100F exists for 80 buckaroos

I bought one immediately followed by a $60 i3 10100 on Amazon, which I’m going to use for a slightly more competent test bed while I shelve the i3 9100F and H310C board.

It's showing as $180 for me. Do you have something applying automatic discount codes?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

My bad. I forgot to take into account the $80 off Asus code. That's a great deal. Makes it very tempting. That plus a cheap 10th or 11th gen could be profit changing out my 9900k finally..

I’m not sure if Asus is on to something or not with the fabric decoration on the south bridge Heatsink but i don’t hate it

not a bad feature set for $100, I probably wouldn’t recommend doing this for a new build with 12th gen and soon 13th gen coming around but if you can get an 11th gen processor for cheap enough this is solid
