Is this laptop worth it?

At ~$325 it's not the worst deal, but not the best. It's a 7 yr old chip and a 7yr old graphics card, I'd start being concerned about other components failing like mainboard. If this is a stop gap solution, sure, but def not recommend as a long term one.

I'm in desperate need of a computer right now.

If you need a computer ASAP, get it; it's old and won't be great for modern games, but will do the job for everything else. Just be prepared to upgrade relatively quickly if your demands increase.

For about 300$ not a bad deal but don't expect it to run modern games. My 970m cant even do that anymore and that thing is 40% faster.

Also battery life is 1 hour tops.

I'd be using it for next 2 years

I had actually found a Asus TUF fx504 with a i7 8750h and GTX 1060 for this price, but by the time I convinced my parents, somebody else bought it.

I need a PC to use, to play some offline games (720p and 30fps is more than enough), and to learn unity on.

The 2gb vram is a severe limit too. It's gonna be obsolete for new games in the next couple years.

It will probably do that but you really do have to keep in mind that a 960m is basically a gtx750ti at best.

Update I found a better laptop for $100 more, but the speakers don't work. Is it worth $100 over that?
