Roasting YOUR setups, AGAIN (SPONSORED)

SeanLMG

I should post my jank Lenovo M71E SFF...  complete with i3-2100 to i7-2600 swap, SATA M.2 adapted with NGFF adapter tucked against the chassis wall with the board steadying it, and the front panel barely hanging on from broken clips. It's still sort of a boat anchor. 🤣

I don't badmouth others' input, I'd appreciate others not badmouthing mine. *** More below ***

MODERATE TO SEVERE AUTISTIC, COMPLICATED WITH COVID FOG

Due to the above, I've likely revised posts <30 min old, and do not think as you do.

THINK BEFORE YOU REPLY!

Just posting this hoping Jake appreciates the sim rig setup and has suggestions for improvement.

Motherboard: Asus x470-prime

Ram: G.Skill Trident Z RGB Series 32GB 3200mhz

Other stuff for Race Sim: Fanatec CSL DD with Clubsport Steering Wheel R320, Simforge MK1 Pedals, Quest 1, Quest 2, HP Reverb G2, Trakracer Tr80 (Buy simlab GT1 PX-1 or similar you'll be happier with the quality)

Client gave the setup back to me a few months ago. The Hurrican Azza was always my favorite case. So.... I used it again.⬇️

My unraid server is my old decommissioned gaming pc from 2011 with a p8z68 Deluxe, Intel 2700k  and that same exact corsair ram with the blue heatsinks because it matched the chipset heatsinks. It has 980ti in it now for handling transcoding videos in plex but originally had an Asus HD7970 Direct CUII in it. Seeing this build video was super nostalgic, thanks for posting it!

Just figured I'd throw my setup in the mix. It didn't take to long to setup up but just have been buying parts over the last year and a half. I finally built something that I'm in love with lol. Please excuse the wire mess underneath the desk. I generally just play some Apex and PUBG on it, but at 1440, she puts out 240FPS. 300 in Apex. Also for the weird CPU clock on the LCD screen says 5134mhz and the memory seems like a weird settings. I always overclock the BLCK on my builds. Just seems to run a little bit faster. I might be crazy, but that's just my experience. Also for the 3 Fans under the GPU........ I run AMD's More power tool to get this card to pull up to 450 watts on some test. Those fans keep the Hot Spot under 100 C.  On furmark, I can pretty much destroy any 3090 -3090ti. Yes I know that its only one benchmark. However, i do beat some of them on TimeSpyyyy as well.   List on Specs Follows:

10700k @ 5.1 - 5.2Ghz All Cores

MSI K240 v2 AIO Cooler

32GB Corsair DDR4 3200mhz @ 3489mhz OC

MSI Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi Motherboard

Sapphire Toxic Liquid Cooled 6900XT ( this thing is a beast ) OC @ 2725mhz core and 2100-2150mhz on the memory

9 LL120 Corsair fans. (I left the stock fans on the AIO for the GPU because they spin faster. Same for the pull side of the CPU AIO) For a total of 14 Fans.

Corsair 5000T Case. ( Must have for that Rainbow Unicorn Poop)

Corsair K70 RGB mk2 Keyboard and put some Devil Key caps on it that are rubberized

Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE  Mouse

Samsung 32 inch G7 Odyssey 240hz 1440p TI Faker Edition Monitor

Corsair RM1000x Power supply

2 Western Digital 500GB M.2 Hard drive.

1 Sata Sandisk SSD 550gb

Here's My "PC" Setup(I don't have one):

Vivo Y15

4GB Ram

64GB Storage

Helio P22 Chipset

I installed Ubuntu XFCE on it and it can run most of the things a regular Linux PC can, but much slower. The stuff I do on it runs, but not too well. Gaming is a big ol NO though, if a game installs by some miracle it'll probably run "slower than a turtle covered in molasses".

Kinda in need of a big upgrade, probably will do that this year at some point.  Have made some piecemeal upgrades.

Core I7 2700K-4core8thread CPU @ 3.8-4.0 Ghz (all oc'd) on a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4

16 Gigs Ram

Zotac Windforce GTX 1080Ti

Coolermaster 1000w gold

Samsung 1080p LED monitor, Samsung G5 1440p monitor, Valve Index, Pimax 5K+, Samsung Odyssey+

Drives... ah... kinda a mess.  24 drives total, 4 internal SSD: 40GB, 120GB, 500 GB and 1TB.  2 internal drives, a classic 140GB 10000 RPM raptor and 6TB black.

External... whelp, some are hidden behind the monitor, but 110 TB total 4, 6, 8, and 10s.  A 5 drive 10TB (old) NAS in another room not pictured.  I have some great power on hour stats... 82247 on the 120 GB SSD... 96372 on my 10k RPM raptor.  Most are in the 8000-35000 on hours though range though.  Ironically the 40GB SSD is younger than the 120 or 500, I bought that to be a cache drive.

Steelseries apex 7 red, Steelseries Rival 600 mouse (love these two), Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speakers.

Still working on it I don't make enough yet to buy a full setup but this is what I'm working with it works. Its at least not very messy so it is usable. If you don't like it I couldn't care less but I want to share my setup cable management is bad but i really don't have a good option at the moment then my other stuff and ignore the walls I just moved into a different room and it was a siblings so just ignore it. That is a cap gun btw it is fake! (I said that because people are blind sometimes and its in front of orange wallpaper so you cant see the orange tip.

AMD 5900x

32gb ram 3200mhz

Just after a weekly dust cleaning from the floor. I am aware the side glass should be kept on but it was radiating all the heat to my balls and also pc needs dusting. Occasional iracer(&other racing games) with vr. Now playing mostly escape from tarkov and squad. Tryin to to hide the mess of cables behind the pc(I didnt move anything for the photos).

If you can spot the "lotion", I actually have dry skin and working as a mechanic. I have limited space for my setup. IMG_20230930_021106.thumb.jpg.33846e7599ea20530e3c5978ccbc9caa.jpg
