I do found an Extensions from Dolby Laboratories but the rating is so bad and mostly said not working. I did try last time not work also. 😅

Not going to try again as I just fresh install Windows 11 last few weeks. 😅

You can't found this app directly search the Microsoft Store but you will found it from google. I think Dolby is silently take it out. 😅

ill figure it out once i go with w11, right now i might just stick to console for hdr streaming

All said not working in Netflix and Netflix crash, that time I try not crash but not working also but I forgot to try local Dolby Vision metadata profile video.

Lol, the fan doesn't work on X27 or all of a sudden your X27 doesn't work anymore. Show the pictures of PA32UCG or you just tell crap all alone.

Funny this place is darker than it already is. I have seen many certified OLED shills.
This place is just the same as the discord circlejerk group but younger. Aren't you one of them? I have seen what they said and who they were. Guys don't have the monitors. They don't have PA32UCG at all.

i had the contrast turned up a bit on the x27 because the bleed would affect the blacks and grays

There is only one reason and one guy who deliberately crank more contrast to record a video like this.

@MonitorFlicker Why do you even bother if this is such a 3rd world for displays? You obviously don't have anything better to do than discuss with people who apparently don't even understand what you're talking about. Go to reddit, which seems like a better fit for you. Enthusiast forums are obviously the wrong place for you when you feel so superior talking to us.

There are plenty of people in this thread alone whose posts i saw over the years, so most of us have had quite a lot of different monitors and were able to build our own opinion about what matters TO US in HDR or generally in displays.

You constantly claim to be a professional. So let me a allow you to prove it. Point us towards something you worked on. (If you can actually prove that it was your work, not some random claim). So far everything from your behavior to your username points in the opposite direction.

@xg32 It's not nice to mention me, pulling me pack into a topic that i was personally done with and then remove the post so i don't even know what this is or was about. No offense to you, but i'm genuinely fed up with @MonitorFlicker's posts and he/she/it is actually the first person i've encountered on this forum that made me understand why the ignore button exists.

I've had my differences with @IPD and @Andrewtst for example, but i've never felt compelled to just block them, so that's quite the achievement.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Don't change the subject. This is the circlejerk clown show at its best. You talk and talk without having any of these monitors.

It is pathetic. I just remember it clearly people like Stahlmann claims AW3423DW is a better HDR monitor than PG35VQ without ever see AW3423DW in person.

Another one claims he has PA32UCG saying grey is way better than PG35VQ/X27 without ever dare to show an actual photo of PA32UCG compared to PG35VQ or X27 like he actually has any of them.

Then you can test how much ABL PG32UQX has.

Download and check the HDR photo in Windows HDR mode with the default Photo app.

Only PA32UCG can sustain the brightness. PG32UQX made in later batch should become dimmer after 3 seconds.

so is it better to get an earlier batch?

I prefer the previous batch where the it maintains 1600nits at 1%-50% window, 1300nits at 75% window, 1200nits at 100% window.

The latest batch from may 2022 has 1600nits at 1-25% window.  Then the brightness drops to 1000nits at 25% - 100% window.
The latest batch should've been tweaked only to display less blooming.

I'm curious as to why you got tired of ultrawides. Last year I upgraded my PG27UQ to the PG32UQX and the blooming was so much worse than I expected. Don't get me wrong, HDR content is usually jaw droppingly gorgeous but I've been getting into Star Citizen and with Auto HDR enabled the blooming can be murder with the stars in the background.

I'm considering going dual monitor and grabbing the AW3423DW for my main gaming display and using the PG32UQX as a media monitor. The will be my first ultrawide if I decide to pull the trigger so I'm just curious as to why you decided to ditch the format.
