Budget is pretty important here.

You're going to have to give a budget or this question can get a little out of control. I have a GMMK Pro with no branding but it was over $300 all said and done.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

Let's keep it under $500. But seriously... zero branding. No company names, logos, acronyms, etc.

What I've been using are these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099DSMPQV?maas=maas_adg_A09780F7DC6C443CA4EA6FD1A5454E48_afap_abs&ref_=aa_maas&tag=maas&ref=myi_title_dp&th=1

They're totally unbranded and support a wide range of keycaps.

I'd love to get something made of aluminum or steel so that it's easier to clean.

My GMMK Pro's only branding is on the bottom.. so you'd have to turn it completely over, not sure if that matters to you. The case is all aluminum and can be used as a deadly weapon in the event its necessary. SO damn heavy. The most premium feeling peripheral I've ever owned.

You can build it yourself and pick all the parts with their wizard or buy a pre-built.

What is a good mechanical keyboard (full size) that doesn't have any visible branding?

Keychron is what I use. Mine is a 65%, but they do make full sized ones as well.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Sounds great - except it's not full size. Deal breaker. This is a work PC that I do a lot of typing on and the 10key feature is required.

Then look at Keychron.

The Keychron Q6 or Q5 should fit those requirements. The only branding seems to be on the removable USB-C cable, which you can easily replace

GMMK makes a full sized as well. No branding that I could see.

If you need the NUMPAD, you're going to have far more, better choices if you buy a smaller keyboard and then just buy an additional NUMPAD to have on the side. As a plus you can put it wherever you want. That was what I had to come to terms with when looking at custom keyboards; I too would prefer a full sized, but nice ones simply don't exist.

I'm curious about what the OP needs/wants.  Of what function does this serve?  If it's just for taking photos of a setup w/o showing any branding--that's easy with a Ducky like mine.  But idk what the OP is really trying to get at going "Badgeless".

Does it matter why I want a clean setup?

Maybe I just think it looks bad.

Which is why I suggested Keychron. The only branding is on the bottom, which is the sicker with the model number and other info and I think the cable might have a small logo but nothing really noticeable. Even then you can just get a different cable as its a detachable USB C cable.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

  • 3 weeks later...

Just following back with everyone to say that I got the Q6 and I love it!

Build quality is amazing. There is no branding anywhere so it looks clean on my desk! 10/10 will definitely be buying more of these 🙂

Thanks for the recommend, peeps!

It's the DROP+Marvel Captain America keycap set.

https://drop.com/buy/drop-marvel-captain-america-keycap-set

It's sort of ironic because I really don't like the marvel movies all that much and I'm not really into the comics.

I just wanted a red, white, and blue keycap set that didn't look awful so it would fit with my "America" themed PC (mostly Red & Blue RGB in a white case).

Regarding the keycap set itself - I'd give it 7/10. The keycaps are well made, doubleshot PBT that will last a long time. They have a large array of alternate caps (Captain's shield, or the word MARVEL on the enter keys) so that I was able to arrange them in such a way that didn't look like I was 12 years old, lol.

However, the caps are of a very unusual size. They are close to 2x as tall as normal caps, and they have a much more pronounced curvature, making them impossible to "match" with other caps. Despite have close to 140 caps in the set, it's really only intended for a 104 layout and not 108, so I had to get creative with the last 4 (upper right).

Edit: After ranting about the keycaps, i realized you actually asked about the switches, not the caps.

I went with Gateron Red that came lubed from KeyChron.
