Double 3060 ti's?

So, I wanna make a PC build with two 3060 ti's (or 1080 ti), but how would I go to make the two graphics cards work (if its possible), and would it be better than something like a 3080? Here's a part sheet so you can see what I wanna build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MnpgQ6 (bit of a Razer fanboy).

Thanks!

That looks like a very bad PC... what's that a $350 Asetek AIO? Has to be the worst I've seen so far... Razer never fails to deliver the bad jokes.

1080 Ti's will still work as multiple, but in very specific cases like Battlefield, SLI indeed is dead. I think the last game I ran on that config was Immortal: Unchained, which was a 2017 title. It's pretty much beyond dead at this point.

If I were you, I'm simply get a 6700 XT with an Intel setup. The Razer case and the fans also look beyond bad.

I remember running Rise of the tomb raider with sli 970s back when lol

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Don't. There isn't really much point in running more than a single card, you'd just be wasting your money.

Not really. I've had more problems in the past 2 months than the past 8 years with Nvidia

I hear this but I have never had driver issues with my 2 previous AMD gpu's.  I went Nvidia this time due to work requirements but I don't get the hate for AMD.

Their drivers aren't fully hashed out, most of the time. Which is sad. They've had releases that for months left users unable to play a lot of titles.

My issues weren't an every day occurrence, but I had crashes while browsing, crashes while gaming on multiple games (and I don't game that often), and I even had one game that for a few weeks wouldn't start at all. It's unacceptable, and not something I ever had happen with Nvidia. It's like Ryzen when it first launched, and it's abysmal RAM compatibility; they get 90% of the way to superb products, and fuck up the last 10%. Their chiplet architecture for their GPUs sounds super sick, but I'd never buy a first gen AMD product, especially something affected by drivers.

understandable, i don't just update drivers unless there is an issue so i guess i got the more polished product.

You know what surprises me with Nvidia?  Their control system is garbage.  I can't believe they don't have something on par with AMD's Adrenalin software.  So far thats my only hangup with Nvidia.. that and their price is a tad bloated in comparison with AMD's in terms of clock speeds and Vram.

I think come next generation (not 7000 series likely) AMD is going to at least be equal to Nvidia.

I agree, I'm surprised Nvidia hasn't made something like that, especially since they make other game suites. The only thing I can think of is other partners have made software, so they don't see the point. I loved the layout of AMD's software. Even the colour schemes were nice, and not as aggressive as some others.

One can hope, but it'll be at least 2 generations before I try them again.

Depends on what you are wanting the cards to do together. They can be better than one better card. Alot of variables.
Two look better, which Is why I put more in my systems. Cpu's struggle too much when gaming with multiple cards for the past few years.
