Windows 11 brightness slider not showing up on my computer

hello everyone, recently I got new pc and its the hp pavilion. I currently have a headache and i wanted to lower down the brightness and once  I went to the settings and somehow the brightness slider was missing. I even tried going to go to google but nothing helped. Could anyone help me?

Do the FN keys for monitor brightness on your keyboard not work?
You might be able to add the slider using this process.

maybe you can do this directly with your laptop, look at the top bar of your keyboard locate the f1-f12 keys one of them usually is for lowering brightness, (it has a sort of icon that shows that) press that togheter with the FN key, should work flawless

my keyboard doesn't have a key for the brightness and I forgot to add that I don't have a laptop so sorry about that

oh sorry about that, well then you could lower the birghtness with the buttons that usually are at the bottom of your monitor. 
What monitor do you have?

on my settings it says LG ultra gear

unfortunately thats not enough. but still, it should have some buttons where you can control the monitor settings inculding brightness, look at the corners of the screen they have to be somewhere

i somehow found the button, it was located at the bottom of my monitor. thank you for your help!

Brightness slider in Windows only available in laptop. 

 

For PC, you need to change at monitor menu.
