Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Revision 3.0 Stay Away!

I did suggest the msi gd65 or gd 80 

 

No go for me, I'm done with Gigabyte till they straighten up on stuff. Their AMD motherboards aren't that great when it comes to quality control, their BIOS support is abysmal and so is their " tech support".

I have one of the older revision UD3's and had no problems with it. Its a shame to hear you've had such a bad time with their tech support. :/

I'm sticking with the Asus Cross Hair V Formula-Z, the $230 it cost is nothing compared to all the BS I've been through with this board and Gigabyte, they still don't even admit that Rev. 3 has issues.

Yeah, the older revisions don't seem to suffer from most of the flaws in the Rev. 3 board.

 

 

Oh and one of the members at OCN got a Rev. 4 as a RMA to his Rev. 3 he sent in and it still throttles.....

I have the rev 4.0 yet from 4.2 it drop to 2.9 when running prime95. even with default in bios still the same issue
