lian li evo front pannel power, reset led.... befor you buy read this...

so i was putting my z77 sabertooth mb in the lian li 011 evo case and well its impossible to attach the power, rest button and led to it... this is bad lian li.! only way of doing it is pulling the pins out of the 9 pin and getting 2 pin dupont connectors... wtf...

I noticed this trend on my Hyte Y60... not sure if MB manufacturers have gotten their act together lately and pseudo-standardized or what, but I was surprised to see a solid block for my front IO and not have it broken out. It worked fine with my MB, though...

what mb do you have? guy on redit has a Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE and it dont fit... oh a Asus B350-F Strix i guess so bs...

to fix the problem you can diy and pull the pins from the 9pin (with a tac should work) connector and connect 1 pin, 2 pin or 3 pin DuPont deepening on your mb

connector layout

 

1pin $7.90

 

if you dont want to diy then you can buy 1 pin, 2 pin , 3 pin DuPont  extension (one side male other side female)

ok so i installed 140mm pfans on the bottom of the lian li 011 evo and dam its bending the power button cables and impossible to connect any usb 3.0 cables so looks like you going to need at lest 2 120mm fans instead there 011 case had this problem too... disappointed for a $300 case...  would an extra inch kill ya? probably impossible to install a rad...

 

and yes i changed the front panel connector had too...
