Where to buy a Casino Style Monitor?

Ariyala

Hey,

does anyone know where I could buy a curved touch monitor like they have for modern Slot Machines in Casinos?

I need one for a personal project of mine, but unfortunately all the official sellers I can find don't sell single units to private buyers, like for example this seller:

https://crystal-display.com/products/led-halo-display-monitors-for-gaming-and-casinos/

I found a bunch on Alibaba.com, but am not sure if those are cheap knock-offs or are actually quality products - does anyone have experience with Alibaba?

https://m.alibaba.com/product/1600430261822/Casino-Monitor-Curved-Touch-Screen-Casino.html

Cheers!

Ari

You might be able to buy a curved gaming monitor and then put a touch panel over it.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I was considering that, but more as a last resort kinda thing 🙂

Thanks a lot for the links!

Unfortunately those aren't quite what I am looking for, they are just regular flat panels with touch support. They don't seem to have any curved ones, and especially none with the RGB LED glow 😕

That rgb thing makes me wonder if you’re looking for a particular model.

Not necessarily a particular model, there are a bunch different ones like these:

http://gtt.co.kr/en/product/casino.php?ckattempt=1

https://m.made-in-china.com/amp/product/43-rdquor-J-Curved-Touch-Monitor-with-Halo-LED-Surround-for-Casino-Gaming-Kiosk-1934927255.html

https://select.advantech.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/XCH315430WP50DPG1E-Datasheet.pdf

But they all unfortunately do not sell individual units to private buyers.

So I am just looking for a similar model that I can buy as a private person with only a need for a single monitor 🙂

So you’re looking at wholesalers but you want to buy retail.  Maybe ask these companies who their retailers are.

the term “casino style” in particular worries me.    The casino industry, especially the LasVegas one, will have special stuff in place.  All peripherals need drivers of some sort.  You may find that if you get ahold of one of these “casino style” monitors it will not have a driver you can easily get ahold of.  You might even need to write your own from scratch.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Yep, I did ask them. Unfortunately they either did not reply at all or couldn't point me to a retailer. Hence why I was hoping someone here may have an idea for where I could get one 🙂

The specific “casino” thing may be a non-starter then.  They may be controlled.  If you tried to buy a lot of them you might also be required to produce a casino license or something.

Yeah I think so too 😕

Though, as I mentioned in my original post, there are a few sellers who sell them on AliBaba.com, I just have never bought anything from that site and am worried that it will be the cheapest knock-off product ever or something

Yeah.  That’s a problem.  It’s becoming a problem everywhere though.  Even Amazon.  One has to check who the seller actually is because it’s often not actually Amazon.  One has to look up the company and make sure they’re legit.  That’s what brushing scams were about.  A way to get fake assurance.
