Wow! I wonder what they feel like to type on.

There's a discussion tab where a few people who already have the caps were explaining how they feel on different switches.

Not exactly the cheapest but wow, they're pretty and would be great for anyone who just has money to blow.

The silver set can be found cheaper on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MKC-Printed-37-Keyset-Metallic-Zinc-Cherry-MX-Keycaps-/331034660039?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d13340cc7

I thought it would at least be good eye candy to share.

From what I've read they will actually make your keystrokes lighter due to the weight of the key caps. Not recommended on switches with 30g actuation point.

Would it be bad with my MX reds then?

Well MX Reds are 50g so if you think Reds aren't light enough then go ahead lol. If you can find the weight of these key caps and what you are using you can try and imagine how much lighter they will become.

Edit; from the post

On reds they make the actuation force quite low. I don't have anything to measure it with but reds with the metal caps are very easy to deal with. Keeping that in mind, I find myself having less accidental actuations than I did on the 45g topre I was using previously.

Seems like it would be nice. But, I've got other things to buy first. I need a new PSU before my current one blows up like many of the reviews of it state it did.

I think reds would be too light for the hefty caps personally. Also linear switches might be interested since there not bump to add more friction.

They do make them lighter so I especially wouldnt recommend reds, browns, and possibly even blues.

Do they make you better in cs?

What doesnt make you better at CS?

Yea, best your going to get for anything close to reasonable. I should not stay away from the v1's cause if I try to pull them off their so tight id pull the stems out of the switches.

lol

I was looking at some custom keycap stuff and it was either $40 for the arrow or WASD keys or like $25 for just an aluminum space bar. I also found some other ones that were plastic and around $60 which was totally not worth it when these are the same price.

Dude the alu spacebars are worth it I recommend the matt black one, though glossy may look better with those caps possibly.

Really? I really want one, where do I get them? The only ones I could find were on eBay and I don't really know what's good and all that.

I just found this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MKC-Matte-Black-Anodized-Aluminum-Spacebar-OEM-Profile-Cherry-MX-Keycap-/231063996818?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35cc7cc992 I wonder if it's too long though.

ebay get them from geekfeng (feng is his user name on GH) its usually quiker but a touch more expensive to go through ebay. The only thing you have to do is possibly lightly bend the prongs that hold the stem. This would especial be the case if you have Costar stabilizers. You may have to do this for the zinc caps as well just lightly bend them till they have nice snug but no tight fit. Another thing if you want to use orings with these grab at least two packs as all keys will need double and R4 keys need triple.
