Old powerful pc or newer ok pc

I recently have acquired a z840 workstation

Specs:

2x e5-2620v3 cpus

2x  8GB 1RX4 PC4-2133P-RC0-10-MB1 ram

Nvidia quadro m4000 gpu

And I also have a custom build pc

ryzen 5 5600g cpu

 (2x8GB) 3600MHz (PC4-28800) CL18 ram

vega 8 igpu

My question is would I be better off to use the z840 how it is or put the m4000 gpu in my custom build.

Because the z840 has slower ram and cpu core clocks but has more cores in the cpu.

(I use my pc mostly for gaming but do do some light cad as well.

Even with 2 of them, the 5600g will outperform it outside of a few scenarios where just raw core count matters most. I would just put the M4000 into your current system, it’s comparable to a GTX 950 with more video memory, it’ll outperform the Vega igpu but it’s nothing crazy.
