Posted May 11, 2022 IPS > VA Curved vs flat is personal preference Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy. If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear. Posted May 12, 2022 It's pretty much down to personal preference. The GIgabyte has a higher contrast, meaning it'll look better when playing in a darker room. But as it's a VA panel the response in dark scenes are significantly worse. (dark smearing) The MSI is an IPS monitor, meaning response times overall are better, but contrast is worse resulting in a worse picture in dark rooms. If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
