My middle mouse button / wheel doesn't click

DanWhite

Well it does click, and isn't damaged in anyway, it just doesn't perform the action of clicking with it  on the actual PC, scroll down and up works well, and I can click with the middle button of the touchpad of the laptop normally but the click of the wheel of the mouse suddenly stopped working. Mouse's the redragon griffin m607, on the software wheel's configured well, and I use windows 10, if you have any idea of what could be happening I would appreciate if you tell me, thank you in advance

Switch is probably fucked.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I can tell you the switch going bad doesn't feel or sound any particular way.

That's what happens when things fail. They work, then they stop.

I've had mice from more reputable brands than Redragon shit the bed after a few months.

It just says "middle button" on the software, it was like that as well when it was working

Can you try moving the mouse to a different computer and see if the issue persists there as well?

Have you tried a mouse tester website like https://www.onlinemictest.com/mouse-test/

I don't have another computer, and I tried the test and it does not click there as well

Sounds like your mouses switch may in fact be bad.

Have you checked Windows device manager?

What do you see under Device managers "Mice and other pointing devices"?

You can try right clicking on the devices entry within device manager and choose 'uninstall device', then disconnect and reconnect in a different port and see if that helps.

What USB port are you connected to? Are you connecting through a hub like a monitor or keyboard?

I changed its fuction to "copy" (as in, copy and paste) and now it clicks and works normally xD this is the weirdest thing. EDIT: I changed it back to "Middle button" and it is still working. Also, thank you for trying to help!
