Laptop input delay

Gaming laptop is having only Keyboard delay in games and when typing. I have tried resetting the keyboard drivers, removing the Filter Keys, doing the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth in the cmd window, trying different keyboards and the built in keyboard nothing seems to work. The games are running fine and task manager doesn't say anything is being maxed out

I kind of had this problem but it was only for a few seconds. I think probably antivirus is involved. Disable everything and even real time protection in MS Defender. Maybe also disable memory integrity but I doubt it will have any effect.

 

I should have asked this first, but since when did the problem arrive? What model is the laptop? Have you tried running in safe mode yet?

It's an ROG Zephyrus G15. I tried disabling the real time protection for Windows Defender, the only anti virus, and it's still happening. I also tried going into device manager and making sure that none of the Human Interface Devices are set to turn off as recommended in this subreddit. I also tried updating the Display Drivers and Windows 11. The issue started a few weeks ago

What exactly is the problem? There is high latency after key presses when typing?

 

edit - Also try to run in safe mode as I had mentioned.
