I quite like the cards with HBM memory from AMD, packing a lot in a tiny package:  https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-vega-nano.c2997

 

 

There's much more powerful cards these days, of course, but talk about making a "sleeper" computer and people thinking it's a cheap slow video card.

 

The video cards used to have pretty coolers in the past, but nowadays they're all heatpipes and fins and blocks of aluminum/copper with a bunch of fans on them.. 

used to have a HD4850 ... had a nice low profile heatsink with transparent plastic on top, was looking quite nice

I really like the look of MSI Gaming X Trio 30 series cards, not sure why but they just look great and afaik they also have one of the best coolers

Not on my computer so it’s a pain to attach pictures. 
For me it’s close between the Noctua 3070 and the Gigabyte Vision line up.

I actually prefer the design and look of my PowerColor Vega64 Red devil over my Sapphire Nitro+ 6900 XT, no fancy RGB, just a solid HSF + awesome shroud. Besides, I've always been a sucker for red/black combo....

I still love to see my ATI Rage Fury MAXX. Dual GPU "without" hide, it's really cool to see, it's like to see an V8 engine without plastic cover

 

 

 

And 3Dfx Voodoo 5 6000 relooked with black PCB, it's really cool to see
